almost certainly Annie Evelyn Poole, widow of John Sprigg Poole, who split her time between a home in DC and one in the Halpine/Autrey Park/Twinbrook area of Rockville.
In the 1930 census, Edward Gandy (b. 1872, immigrated from England in late 1880s), "painter, building," and Joseph Clagett (b. 1871), "painter, building," live two households apart on Grandin Ave., Rockville.
